Rules & Regulations

1. Eligibility

  • Open to teams located in Canada (registered businesses, non-profits, or public sector organizations).

  • Teams must consist of at least 5 and no more than 12 members who work together regularly.

  • Entrants must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to enter on behalf of their team.

  • Nominations must be submitted by a team member with decision-making authority or significant influence over team development and training purchases. If the nominator does not have such authority, they must provide the contact information of their manager or the person responsible for team development/training.

  • Each team may be nominated only once. Multiple entries for the same team will be disqualified.

  • Employees, contractors, or affiliates of Berriault & Associates and their immediate families are not eligible.

2. How to Enter

  • Complete the official nomination form, including:

    • Nominator’s name and contact information

    • Team name and organization

    • Your role in the team (Team Lead, Manager, Director, Executive, Other)

    • Indicate if you have authority to approve or recommend team training/workshops (Yes/No/I can influence the decision)

    • If "No" or "I can influence the decision," provide the name and email of your manager or decision maker

    • A short story (100–250 words) describing how the team demonstrates the Five Behaviors™ (trust, conflict, commitment, accountability, results)

    • Consent to be featured in a post-event case study or testimonial (if selected)

    • (Optional) Referrer’s name and email (see Section 7 for details)

  • Entries must be received by December 15, 2025

3. Prize Details

  • One (1) winning team will receive a $4,500 CAD credit towards a Five Behaviors™ Team Transformation Workshop, redeemable only with Berriault & Associates.

  • Prize includes: Five Behaviors™ Team Assessment, facilitated workshop (virtual or in-person, subject to location), and a team leader coaching session.

  • The winning team is responsible for securing and providing a suitable on-site location for the workshop if on-site delivery is chosen. If Berriault & Associates is requested to arrange the venue, all associated venue costs will be billed to the winning team.

  • On-site delivery within the GTA includes facilitator travel at no extra cost. For locations outside the GTA, the winning team is responsible for facilitator travel and accommodation costs.

  • Virtual delivery is available anywhere in Canada at no additional charge.

  • Prize is non-transferable, has no cash value, and must be accepted as awarded.

  • Prize must be redeemed within 6 months of winner notification.

  • Travel or additional services are not included unless specified.

  • If the winning team is unable to participate, the prize may be awarded to a runner-up.

4. Winner Selection

  • Entries will be reviewed and judged based on the quality and authenticity of the nomination story, alignment with the Five Behaviors™, and team eligibility.

  • Finalists may be contacted for a brief verification call.

  • If the nominator does not have decision-making authority, Berriault & Associates will contact the listed manager or decision maker to confirm their awareness and support for the nomination. Nominations without confirmation may be disqualified or not considered for the prize or discount offers.

  • The winner will be notified by email or phone within 7 days of the contest closing date.

  • To claim the prize, the winner must correctly answer a skill-testing question and provide proof of team status (e.g., organizational website, LinkedIn, or supervisor confirmation).

5. General Conditions

  • No purchase necessary to enter or win.

  • By entering, participants agree to allow Berriault & Associates to feature their team’s name, story, and (with consent) photos in promotional materials.

  • Personal information will be collected and used solely for contest administration and will not be shared or sold.

  • Berriault & Associates reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the contest if necessary.

  • The decisions of the judging panel are final and binding.

7. Referral Prize

  • To be eligible to refer another team, a participant must first nominate their own team by completing a valid entry as described in Section 2.

  • If a participant nominates their own team, they may then refer another team to enter the contest. The referred team must list the referrer’s name and email on their nomination form.

  • If the referred team wins the Grand Prize, the referrer will receive access to the “Insightful Leader: Analytics & Influence” program from Berriault & Associates (valued at $1,499 CAD, see details: https://berriaultandassociates.com/product/insightful-leader-analytics-influence/).

  • The referrer must not be a member of the referred team.

  • There is a limit of one Referral Prize per winning team.

  • The Referral Prize is non-transferable, has no cash value, and must be accepted as awarded.

  • If no eligible referrer is listed, the Referral Prize will not be awarded for that entry.
